Always an efficient solution - Cargo Loading Systems
PFW has been producing aircraft on-board cargo loading systems since 1982, and to date more than 2,000 ship sets for the lower decks of the various Airbus wide-body and A320 families have been delivered.
Building on this long experience, we've designed and developed a new modular, lightweight main deck CLS for a range of freight aircraft.
Component designs are optimized in coordination with the manufacturing processes utilizing numerous high-speed multi-axis NC machines, as well as innovative friction steer welding, to minimize weight while maximizing robustness.
We offer CLS solutions for passenger aircraft (lower decks), freight aircraft and combined passenger and freight ("combi") aircraft. CLSs can either "manual" or powered, equipped with PDUs (Power Drive Units) and a control system, as required.
Additionally, through our proven experience in the design, development and manufacturing of the cargo-loading and aerial delivery system of the A400M military transport aircraft, we are ideally qualified for any military application.
