Since 2018 PFW and the producer of additive manufacturing machines, BeAM, are maintaining a partnership. By means of corporate research activities the aerospace supplier wants to improve the development of the “DED-Technology” in order to save material and to decrease production costs in the long term.

Formnext is one of the world’s biggest exhibition with its focal point on “additive manufacturing” in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. On a yearly basis visitors and exhibitors are meeting from all manufacturing industries in reference to the topic industrial 3D-printing and its up- and downstream processes.
On top of that formnext publishes 3 times a year a magazine with relevant articles.
